DREAM YOGA AND DANCE

The Story
Once upon a time, you had a delicious dream. You felt like you
once did when you were a child - happy, safe, warm, free. You danced
with spontaneous movement, and marveled at how good you felt, like you
had come home in your body. You coordinated your movements with
breath, feeling your vertebrae elongate, your shoulders relax, and your
hips and knees open. You had energy upon awakening, and you looked
forward to a brand new day. Depression and anxiety felt further away,
and you smiled as you thought about yourself and your loved ones. Your
heart felt full and open, and you considered how your life makes a
difference to your family, neighborhood, community, and world.

At Dream Yoga and Dance, the dream becomes REALITY.

Imei Hsu,  RN, MAC, LMHC, RYT,  is a 200-hour
certified Kripalu Yoga instructor and member of the KYTA
(Kripalu Yoga Teacher's Association) and IAYT
(International Association of Yoga Therapists). She's been
an active exercise enthusiast since the age of 16, running,
dancing, snowboarding, lifting weights, and rollerblading.
Recovering from anorexia nervosa while training to be a
nurse at the University of Washington, Imei discovered
healthy eating habits and dance as therapy. With an
emphasis in community health nursing, Imei experimented
with yoga and dance in 2001, and is now an emerging
professional belly dancer in stage shows and in local
restaurants. She is also a psychotherapist, allowing her to
treat people with deep compassion for what ails: mind,
body, and spirit.
